Ultion SMART was designed with this type of door in mind. All Ultion SMART unlocking features work with your door. When you pass through the door lift the handle as normal and all locking features are available.

You’re never locked out (or in) with Ultion SMART. Being Bluetooth and battery powered you can still control the door whilst at home using your phone, wireless keypad or even your key. Only remote connections that rely on the internet and power will be affected.

The batteries last for ages, about 9000 cycles. And when they start to run low you get a notification on your phone and a red light appears on the handle. Even if you miss these Ultion SMART is also a normal mechanical lock. You can use a key from the outside and the dial on the inside.

The batteries are CR123 (they're quite common in cameras).

Absolutely none. There isn’t even a charge for sending additional electronic keys.

By using the same fixing holes already in your door replacing your door handle with Ultion SMART is simple. It uses sizes common to UK doors, both 211mm and 122mm distance between fixings and 92mm distance between handle and barrel (keyhole) centre. The escutcheon model can be used for doors that don't have a combined 'lever and barrel' handle.

The design means that you don't need to give your barrel size and even the width of the handle is the same as UK door handles. The internal mechanism is a 30mm radius from the middle of your current keyhole.

The auto-lock function is set on a timer from the app. You can either turn it off or set it to automatically lock for any time you choose from the point that the door was unlocked.

The Auto Unlock feature uses GPS to detect your arrival and automatically unlocks the door for you. The Ultion SMART radius zone for auto unlocking, which you set while installing and configuring the included app. When you are 40 to 50 meters from your Ultion SMART, your smart phone will send periodic commands to unlock the door. If the app is unable to reach your Danalock within four minutes, the Auto Unlock command will time-out.

Once the app has unlocked your door, it will not unlock it again until you have left and re-entered the Auto Unlock Zone. This avoids accidental unlocking while you are home.

The Homekit model does not have an inbuilt auto unlock feature. However an alternative can be set up using Apple Automations. More information on this can be found here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208940

The Ultion SMART can always be operated manually through the use of a real key or the manual thumbturn.

The wireless keypad is battery and Bluetooth powered. This means there are no wires and it can be positioned anywhere within Bluetooth range of your door, it doesn’t have to be on the door. The keypad works in conjunction with all Bluetooth and smart home hub systems but not the Apple Homekit model.

Twist Assist can and is disabled by default. It can be easily enabled or disabled using the included app or manual click commands.

You don’t have to. The unique design of Ultion SMART means you don’t need to give a cylinder size.

You’re still protected if you combine Alexa with Ultion SMART. During the Alexa setup you will be prompted to set up a passcode. Alexa then asks for the passcode whenever an unlock request is made.

To ensure maximum security every Ultion SMART is built to work with a specific form of Ultion lock. So whilst you cannot use an existing lock we can make your Ultion SMART to operate from your current Ultion key. There is no charge for this service.

The Homekit model connects only to Apple HomeKit systems. The standard Ultion SMART can connect to Zigbee hubs, this includes Samsung SmartThings and Zigbee enabled Amazon Echo’s. Even though it doesn’t feature on the website we can provide a Zwave version, just call us on 0115 784 3162.
